Q: What will you do at my first visit?
A: Your first visit will be very pleasant. We will take some pictures, review your health history and the Doctor will look at your teeth. The Doctor will then give you an idea of pertinent diagnostic findings and treatment recommendations.
Q: How long does the first appointment take?
A: The first appointment is scheduled for 1 hour. This includes an exam by the Doctor, taking photos, learning about treatment options and answering any questions you may have. We will also provide you with financial information.
Q: Do I need to bring my x-rays from my dentist?
A: If you have recent x-rays from your dentist, please bring them. If the Doctor is able to use them we will make copies and keep them in your file.
Q: Is there a charge for the evaluation?
A: As a courtesy to you and your dentist, there is no charge for the initial evaluation.
Q: Do I have to make a decision on that day?
A: You are not required to make a decision on the day of your first appointment. However, if you want to proceed to the next step we will be more than happy to make an appointment for you and provide any necessary information needed for the next appointment.
Q: Do you take insurance?
A: If you have insurance benefits, please bring the card with you and we will make a copy of it for our records. We are recognized as an out of network provider for all insurance companies. We will be happy to submit any claims necessary for you to receive your orthodontic benefits. All insurance benefits are issued directly to the insured. If you have any further questions our Financial Coordinator Nancy will be glad to help you.
Q: What are your hours?
A: We are open Tuesday through Friday 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. The Wethersfield office is open 3 days a week and the Middletown office is open 1 day a week. If you need to contact us outside of our business hours, please leave a message on the answering machine.
Q: Do you offer Invisalign®?
A: We do many Invisalign cases. Dr. Conroy is an Invisalign Premier Provider, recognized for being in the top 5% of Doctors in the country that do Invisalign cases. He has taken advanced courses in Invisalign.
