Meet Dr. Christopher Murphy

Dr. Christopher Murphy comes to us from Plymouth, MA. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from the Liberal Arts Honors Program at Providence College with a BS in Biology and earned his D.M.D., Master of Dental Science and certificate in orthodontics from the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine. As a dental student and orthodontic resident Dr. Murphy received numerous awards for academic achievement, clinical excellence and community involvement including induction into Omicron Kappa Upsilon, the ADA dental student scholarship, the Pierre Fauchard Scholarship, the American College of Dentists Award, the Shapiro Dental Student Scholarship, the Allen B Reiskin Award , the University of Connecticut Dental Alumni Scholarship, the Charley Schultz Resident Scholar Award and has been published in the American Journal of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics and Angle Orthodontist for his research done on accelerating orthodontic treatment times.

When Dr. Murphy isn’t treating patients, he enjoys spending time with his friends and family and being outside regardless of the weather. An avid surfer, snowboarder and hiker, Dr. Murphy loves chasing swells up and down the New England coastline, hiking in the Appalachians and snowboarding once the snow starts falling.
