Office Visits

We look forward to meeting you and helping you achieve a smile that reflects the way you feel inside. We will work with you on every stage of your orthodontic care to make the experience true success. Our focus is on providing an agreeable environment while offering gentle, yet effective treatment options leveraged by the latest technology. Start your smile transformation by scheduling your initial consultation today!

During your initial consultation, we will start with a tour of our office where you will have the opportunity to meet the team, we will then lead you to the exam room, the doctor will meet with you to evaluate your needs and talk to you about your options for treatment. As part of your initial consultation, we will:

  • Review your dental and medical history forms
  • Provide a complete oral exam, with X-rays, to determine whether treatment is necessary
  • Help you create a customized treatment plan
  • Discuss all financial information, insurance options, and payment plans

We encourage you to ask all of the questions that come to mind during your consultation. The best way to choose the treatment that best fits your needs is to know what treatments are available and how they would work for you.

What happens after the initial consultation?

Once you have completed your initial consultation, you are all set to begin treatment as soon as you’re ready. During your first appointment, your treatment officially begins with the placement of your orthodontic appliance. We recommend setting aside approximately one hour for this appointment. Rest assured that our practice offers a comforting stress-free environment.

Scheduling Appointment

Once you begin orthodontic treatment, you will be asked to schedule progress checks or adjustment appointments depending on the details of your treatment plan, these appointments are normally four or eight weeks apart. To schedule, call us and we will coordinate with you to find the time that best fits your schedule.

While we are sensitive to the fact that life sometimes surprises you with unexpected events, we do ask that you call as soon as possible if you are running behind schedule or need to reschedule your appointment. This way, we can be better prepared to receive you.

Visiting the dentist during orthodontic treatment

While you are undergoing orthodontic treatment, you should continue to visit your family dentist twice a year to receive routine checkups and teeth cleanings. If your dentist identifies a need for treatment, we can coordinate with them to ensure that you receive the highest level of care.
